Oh my word! This story captured my heart, destroyed my heart, and then put it all back together and left me wondering what just happened...wow! Characters: Mythre is the main main character if you know what I mean, we have other POVs but Mythre is the main one. Her struggles and gasping for who she was in a world where she was told what she was from the beginning was sooooo good! I loved that bit! Bastiaan! I love him guys...I do...I need a Bastiaan...actually, everyone does! I mean, he's so...awesome! Man, his arch, his character...I love him! Runt! My word, this boy is just....hugs him cause he's awesome! And so many other characters on the side! So good! Themes: Where to start....all of life is a choice. Every action good or bad. We can choice the good inside us or the bad, the choice is ours. It will always be easier to take the short cuts but in the long run the right way is always the long way. Main thing I got from the story on this read through...there's a lot there though! Romance: A mention of a kiss or two...nothing in detail. Vague mention of a girl having men come in to her, but very vague.... Language: N/A Magic: The characters have Talents or Banes...I wouldn't say they are magic, just part of the world they live in. They aren't waving wands or chanting spells or even doing anything weird so it was all goo with me. Others might view it as magic, but personally it's just a fantasy element in my opinion. Overall: I am still reeling from this story! It was just soooo...good, powerful, amazing...I need a more conclusive ending...perhaps a short story Mrs. Brandes? Jeut something to let me know how it really and truly ends! Anyway, I enjoyed it so much! Now, I'm off to create an ending in my head. Toodles!
