Gracie Ruth Mitchell. She is just phenomenal! This is the second book I’ve read of hers and I love it. I love how she writes the characters, how she writes romance, how she writes grief, etc. This marriage of convenience trope was so good and she made it so fun! I also love our MMC, Phoenix, mainly because I just watched The Godfather for the first time and was picturing him as a young Al Pachino 😮💨 Holland was so fun and witty, too! I was squealing reading this book! Ugh. READ IT 🫵🏻
