by Seth Lewis · May 1, 2025

For many of us, being in the great outdoors surrounded by the beauty of nature helps us to feel peaceful and connected to God. Seth Lewis helps us to experience God and the beauty of creation in an even deeper way by giving us a biblical understanding of what God is saying to us through the world he's created for us. As we view the plants, the animals, the skies, the earth, the seas and everything else God has created through the lens of his word, we will experience heartfelt joy as we worship him for who he is and what he has made. So take the time to slow down and enjoy the gift of God's world as you interpret it through the gift of God's word. These reflections can be used devotionally.

This was a great book that encourages readers to look around at nature and see it for what it is - another way that God speaks to us. Seth Lewis goes through the seven days of creation and pulls from other points in Scripture to explain how each of the different types of nature/creation show God's power and how He is speaking to us through each of them. It was a great book and encouraged me to really take in nature more and see the beauty in what God has made - even if it's stuff I have seen a million times!
