I’ve never read a Fae Romance before, so I was going into this ARC blind, but after practically binging it, I have only one regret: not reading Fae Romance before! I will definately be on the lookout for other clean Fae Romance novels like this one. C.F.E. is not joking around when she says “slow burn.” It took forever, but when it happened it was at the perfect moment to give the plot an extra boost. And of course all of the tension leading up to the moment where they stop denying their feelings was so good! I never swoon and I found myself grinning constantly while reading this masterpiece! I have read many books before but none have left me with this big of a book-hangover! Usually I want to read more books after finishing one, but I struggled to find another book that could compare to the way this one made me feel. Fair warning, this is book two in an interconnected standalone series, so there are minor spoilers for book one, but I love the world C.F.E. has brought us into and the Spanish vibes are to die for! I am definitely putting all of her books on my shopping list and eventually my shelf! Seriously, order it. Pre-order it. Tell your family. Tell your friends. This is the book to jump into.
