While we spend every day arguing, I spend every night thinking about her. I’m damaged beyond repair, and after never being enough for the people in my life, if I can’t be enough for Jane, I don’t think I’ll ever recover. So I can’t let Jane in. No matter how badly I want to.

Jane & Co. just received a new client - Sugar Maple Farms in the Carolinas. So, Jane packs her bags and heads down to find the man who hired her has passed away and must now deal with his grandson - a man intent on seeing the farm get sold off. This book was SO well written. The humor was so well done, the emotional aspects of it tugged at my heart, and it was so much more in depth than most other rom-coms. The author did well to dive into the faults, misconceptions, and views of both main characters and showed such character growth in them, as well. Why you should read it? A main character that is described as Jack Reacher’s body with the face of a young Clint Eastwood. Set on a STRAWBERRY farm. A hysterical group of friends to help Jane along the way. Swoony moments between Jane & Tripp. Small town feels.
