A fabulous read, yet again, by RC Sproul. This was a great read, not necessarily on all of Luther’s life, but Luther’s life leading up to his defiance of the Catholic Church. At the end of the book, Sproul does a deep dive into justification, which is really where Catholics and protestants differ. He dissect different passages of Romans and James where justification is often spoken of, and yet how Paul and James talk about justification might seem different, both can be true at the same time, which is a common theme throughout scripture. A fantastic book that I highly recommend to understand the Reformers’ beginnings.
